About me
Industrial engineer from the ETSII-UPM with over 15 years of experience in the design and implementation of public policies, financial cooperation, and industrial strategy. My professional career has unfolded at the intersection of industry, innovation, and public action, with a common denominator: generating a lasting impact on the economy and people.
For a decade, I worked in the field of Financial Cooperation, which allowed me to acquire an international perspective and a deep understanding of how economic and financial instruments can support industrial development and the creation of opportunities in different countries. This period provided me with a solid technical and strategic foundation to tackle complex projects from a global perspective.
Today, I work at the Spanish Ministry of Industry, where I participate in the design of the Industrial Policy of the future and coordinate transformative programs such as PERTEs and PROFARMA. My focus is on strengthening the competitiveness of Spanish industry, driving the green and digital transition, and contributing to Europe's strategic autonomy.
Before this role, I collaborated with Madrid Investment Attraction, an experience that allowed me to understand firsthand the factors that make a region attractive for international investment in high value-added sectors. Although brief, it gave me a valuable perspective on how to connect businesses, innovation, and the local area.
I firmly believe in three principles:
1. An innovative and sustainable industry is an engine of resilience and prosperity.
2. Public-private collaboration is essential for successfully tackling major challenges.
3. Industrial policy must be ambitious, but also practical and responsive to those who produce, innovate, and create jobs.
My goal is to contribute to Spain and Europe having a strong, innovative industry capable of leading the transition to a more competitive and sustainable future. I am always open to sharing ideas and exploring new forms of collaboration in the areas of industrial strategy, innovation, and strategic autonomy.
