Since July 2020, she has held the position of Executive Director of Policy & Government Affairs at the pharmaceutical company Merck, Sharp & Dohme de España, S.A.
Since December 2023, she has been Second Vice President of the Spanish Association of Bio-Companies (ASEBIO).
She holds a degree in Medicine and Surgery and is a specialist in Oncology with over 15 years of professional experience at the Hospital Clínic of Barcelona. She is a PhD and professor at the University of Barcelona. She has extensive research experience in cancer biology and metastasis, acquired at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York and the Barcelona Science Park.
She has received training in healthcare management and public-private partnerships at ESADE. More than three years of experience in public administration as Director of Healthcare at the Catalan Health Service (Servei Català de la Salut), leading public procurement and operational planning for healthcare services, and as Director of Health Planning at the Catalan Department of Health (Departament de Salut de Catalunya), responsible for strategic planning.
Several publications in high-impact journals on cancer and metastasis mechanisms.
